Program overview

Chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy work together to analyze VOCs components in the atmospheric environment from various aspects

Based on technologies such as chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, and sensors, Snow Dillon has further improved monitoring technology after taking control of ORTHODYNE S.A. of Belgium and KORE of the United Kingdom. It has taken the lead in undertaking major national instrument development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology for many times, and developed ambient air volatilization products with Chinese characteristics. The volatile organic matter monitoring system, combined with the airborne composite pollution monitoring vehicle technology, provides professional volatile organic matter monitoring solutions for industrial parks and urban environmental atmospheres.

Program purpose

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of VOCs components

Based on gas chromatography mass spectrometry and other technologies, automatic online monitoring of 117 VOCs components in urban atmosphere, industrial parks and other ambient air is realized.

Monitoring of total volatile organic compounds in urban ambient air

Belgian ORTHODYNE S.A. chromatography technology is used to automatically monitor the concentration of non-methane total hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, xylene, halogenated hydrocarbons and other gas components in the ambient air.

Continuous real-time monitoring of trace volatile organic compounds and semi-volatile organic compounds

Based on proton transfer reaction time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) can be detected online, and pptv-level VOCs/SVOCs can be qualitatively and quantitatively determined within seconds.

Emergency monitoring

Based on chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy technology, it can be used for emergency monitoring of sudden environmental pollution accidents such as gas stations, chemical parks, and landfills.

Program Content

Through dual chromatographic column design and GC-MS technology, automatic online monitoring of 116 VOCs components in ambient air can be achieved; through GC-FID technology, 57 types of PAMS, non-methane total hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, xylene, halogen can be continuously monitored For gas components such as hydrocarbons, proton transfer time-of-flight mass spectrometry can be used to characterize and quantify pptv-level VOCs/SVOCs in a few seconds. Polycyclic time-of-flight mass spectrometry can be used to quickly detect VOCs in gaseous samples on site. According to relevant standards, the Hantzsch fluorescence method is used to conduct online monitoring of formaldehyde in the atmospheric environment.

Gansu Province Ambient Air Volatile Organic Compounds Monitoring Capacity Building Project

In order to implement the relevant requirements of the "Three-Year Action Plan to Win the Blue Sky Defense", improve the scientific and refined level of prevention and control of ozone and other atmospheric pollution, and strengthen the automatic monitoring of environmental quality VOCs, in October 2019, the Gansu Provincial Environmental Management Department launched "Gansu Provincial Environmental Monitoring Center Station Province-wide Ambient Air Volatile Organic Compound Monitoring Capacity Building Project", after winning the bid, Xuedilong built 14 sets of methane/non-methane total hydrocarbon online analysis systems and 1 set of volatile organic compounds ( VOCs) online chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis system, a set of formaldehyde analyzers and related supporting facilities, based on chromatography, mass spectrometry and other technologies to analyze 117 VOCs components (including formaldehyde) in the ambient atmosphere of Gansu Province, and comprehensively analyze them at each site Monitor the concentration of methane and non-methane total hydrocarbons to further improve the environmental atmospheric VOCs monitoring system in Gansu Province and ensure that the Gansu Provincial Environmental Management Department can efficiently and smoothly carry out coordinated management and control of PM₂.₅ and O₃.

Guangdong Province Volatile Organic Compound Spectrum Monitoring Network Equipment and Operation and Maintenance Service Procurement Project

In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection of Guangdong, and conscientiously implement the deployment requirements of the “Notice of the State Council on Issuing the Three-Year Action Plan to Win the Blue Sky Defense War” (Guofa [2018] No. 22), resolutely implement To win the battle to defend the blue sky and promote the continuous improvement of the province's ambient air quality, the Guangdong Provincial Environmental Management Department launched the "2019 Guangdong Provincial Volatile Organic Compound Spectrum Monitoring Network Equipment and Operation and Maintenance Service Procurement Project" in September 2019, and Snowdilong won the bid The second part of the project was contracted by Group 4, responsible for the construction of 1 set of formaldehyde monitors (a total of 7 sets) at Tianhu, Modiesha, Wanqingsha, Duanfen, Chaozhou, Zhongshan, and Guangdong Atmospheric Super Stations, and provided 3 sets of formaldehyde monitors. Years of operation and maintenance services, used to continuously measure the concentration of formaldehyde in the ambient atmosphere and apply it to the analysis of atmospheric photochemical pollution conditions. The construction of this project not only improved the monitoring capabilities of atmospheric volatile organic compounds in Guangdong Province, but also upgraded the regional air quality monitoring network in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, forming the observation and analysis capabilities of PM₂.₅ and O₃ concentrations, components and precursors.

Guangdong Province Volatile Organic Compound Spectrum Monitoring Network Equipment and Operation and Maintenance Service Procurement Project

Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. VOCs full-factor automatic monitoring system project ​

In order to implement the requirements of the "Ecological Environment Monitoring Network Construction Plan" (Guobanfa [2015] No. 56) and the "Notice of the State Council on Issuing the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan" (Guofa [2013] No. 37), in order to further promote Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. - VOCs full-factor monitoring project construction work. It is planned to build a VOCs full-factor automatic monitoring station to objectively and truly comprehensively reflect the VOCs full-factor gas content in the air at the factory boundary of Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. In September 2019, Xuedilon won the bid for the "Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection VOCs Full Factor Automatic Monitoring System (Zero Solid) Public Bidding Project" and set up a VOCs full factor monitoring station on the north side of the factory for monitoring 116 VOCs components in the ambient atmosphere in the factory area.
